I, like most of the readers of this site, not to mention the entire world, are HUGE fans of The Wire. We talk about that shit like it's real life. On Twitter there's constant arguments about who really shot Bodie and would you really be scared of Omar even though he was smashing Puerto Rican guys to kill time before stealing packages.
Countless professors are giving lectures about how this one show can be used in the business world. How many other shows can say they had a influence in the corporate world? Cats in the hood don't keep much but I guarantee you they have at least these FIVE things:
- 48 Laws of Power
- Reasonable Doubt (or Illmatic for the bean pie, "Black is Beautiful" muhfuckas)
- A Main Bitch
- A Jumpoff
- The Wire Seasons 1-5 (either bootleg or the official)
Real fans will understand the work and research it took for this to be done. If you're not familiar with this show, you deserve to be treated with all the disrespect ever known to mankind.
